Hours: variable hours - up to 15 hours per week - 10 month
Job Summary:
· Have good social skills, verbal/written/communication skills
· Understand why the schools are required to ask parents for their permission to bill their insurance
· Understand the revenue flow and how it is being spent
· Understand the challenges a parent of a child with special needs faces
· Have understanding about how Special Education works in a general way
· Have understanding of the Third Party Billing system, how it is generated
· Familiarity with Medical Assistance, waivered services, county services preferred
Expectations:
· Attend SEPPAC meetings occasionally
· Have computer literacy skills including how to access the internet
· Understand boundaries
· Keep track of contacts with families

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision.
